The Moving Kids Forward Foundation seeks to fund quality early education programs to promote social change.
Many challenges faced by adults, such as mental health issues, obesity, heart disease, criminality, and poor literacy and numeracy, can be traced back to early childhood (World Health Organization. WHO Early Child Development Fact Sheet. 2009).
Nutrition is essential for physical development, cognitive and behavioral development. The mission of the Nutrition and Gardening program is to provide assistance to programs that address nutrition for the students and families of the Moving Kids Forward target population.
The Moving Kids Foundation partners with schools to develop proposals that align with our mission. This is a collaborative and strategic process. After a school or program is identified and a tactical plan is developed.
